Spanish Mountain Gold has  announced the appointment of Don Coxe, one of the most well known and decorated strategic advisors in business communities worldwide, to its board of directors.

Coxe’s reputation and experience in the mining industry is vast and should bring significant benefits to SPA.  Ian Watson, Spanish Mountain’s Chairman, sums it up when he said Coxe’s “reputation, experience and strategic advice will be of enormous help to the company, especially as it nears full feasibility and the financing for going into production.”  The ability to attract such a prominent director  reflects well on the Company and its flagship Spanish Mountain gold project.

When discussing Don Coxe’s impressive career it is hard to know where to start…He has more than thirty-nine years of institutional investment experience throughout North America. He is Strategy Advisor to BMO and Chairman of Coxe Advisors LLP. He has his own personal investment Journal, Basic Points which has been in publishing since 1992. He is an advisor to the Coxe Commodity Strategy Fund, the Coxe Global Agribusiness Income Fund in Canada and the Virtus Global Commodity Stock Fund in the US.  He has also been the recipient of many awards including the Brendan Wood International life time achievement award.
